Where It All Started
Before AMR ever had a name, it had a purpose.
Our founder spent years managing facilities and vendors for a large company—watching how the right environment could lift a team’s energy, and how overlooked cleaning often was in the bigger picture. Too often, it was rushed, disconnected, or undervalued.
So in 2001, AMR was born. Not just to clean buildings—but to raise the standard for what facility care could look like.
The early days weren’t glamorous. We were on the ground—meeting clients, checking sites, cleaning floors late into the night. But we led with heart. One of our first employees once said, “This is the first job where I feel seen.”
That moment still guides us today.

Today, we clean over 10 million square feet daily, serve clients in more than 10 states, and support facilities across every major sector—from healthcare to construction.
We’ve built long-term partnerships, expanded into multi-site contracts, and added services that go far beyond janitorial—like floor care, commercial kitchen cleaning, vendor management, renovation support, and more.
But the milestone we’re most proud of?
Our 98% customer retention rate. Because earning trust—and keeping it—is the standard we hold ourselves to every day.
