The everyday spaces matter

The spaces your people use every day.

Busy facilities depend on more than the production floor. Give offices, breakrooms and shared spaces the attention your employees and visitors notice, with clear tasks and cleaning frequencies for each area.

01

Offices & support areas

Keep desks, meeting rooms and support spaces ready for the workday, with recurring cleaning tailored to the surfaces your team uses.

02

Restrooms & breakrooms

Give employees clean, well-kept places to take a break. Plan restroom and breakroom cleaning around staffing levels and shift changes.

03

Entrances & common areas

Maintain reception areas, corridors and shared walkways, with a cleaning schedule that accounts for daily foot traffic.

04

Floor cleaning & care

Keep floor care suited to your surfaces and daily traffic. The walkthrough identifies which areas need routine cleaning and where periodic maintenance belongs in the plan.

Plan around the building

Cleaning that works
with your schedule.

A useful cleaning plan accounts for when your building is busiest. AMR reviews shift changes, deliveries and site access with you, then plans service around the times and areas available to the cleaning team.

  • Service windows: identify busy periods and agree when each area is available.
  • Site access: clarify entry procedures, restricted zones and who to contact onsite.
  • Surface needs: review floor materials and distinguish routine tasks from periodic work.
  • Clear expectations: put tasks, cleaning frequency and supply responsibilities in writing.

  1. 01 / Before service

Walk the site. Document the plan.

Your priorities become a written cleaning plan, so everyone knows what needs attention and how often. AMR prepares staffing, schedules, equipment, supplies and communication before service starts.

  2. 02 / At startup

Prepare the people doing the work.

Your assigned team learns AMR’s cleaning standards and your facility’s expectations. Site-specific preparation helps staff arrive knowing the areas, tasks and access requirements that matter.

  3. 03 / First 30 days and beyond

    Inspect, communicate, adjust.

Supervisors check more frequently during the first 30 days, then continue scheduled and unannounced inspections using standardized checklists. Missed details are documented and corrected, with additional coaching when needed.

Before the walkthrough

Questions from facility teams.

What parts of a manufacturing or logistics facility can we discuss?

Start with offices, restrooms, breakrooms, entrances, common areas and agreed floor areas. AMR validates the included spaces, tasks, surfaces and frequencies during an onsite walkthrough.

Does this include machinery or specialized industrial cleaning?

This page covers routine facility janitorial services. Machinery cleaning, hazardous-material cleanup, cleanrooms and food-production sanitation are not included in the scope described here. Identify any specialized requirements before requesting a proposal.

Can the cleaning schedule account for shifts and deliveries?

Bring your shift times, busy periods, delivery activity and access restrictions to the walkthrough. AMR uses those requirements to develop the proposed staffing and service schedule; service windows are agreed before work begins.

How is cleaning quality checked?

AMR supervisors use scheduled and unannounced inspections with standardized checklists. Deficiencies and corrective actions are documented, and customer reporting is available when requested.

Can we discuss a single facility or multiple sites across the region?

Yes. Share the addresses and requirements of each facility. AMR serves Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia, with scope, access and scheduling assessed for each location.
